This is the Home of the Springfield Massachusetts Area Local 497 of the American Postal Workers Union, AFL-CIO. We represent approximately 760 postal employees in the clerk, maintenance, motor vehicle services and support services crafts. Our major location is the Mail Processing facility located at 190 Fiberloid Street in Springfield, Massachusetts. As an Area Local we also represent a number of Associate Post Offices in Western Massachusetts.
